Enquiry privacy notice
How we use the details you submit
This short collection notice explains how information submitted through the Talk Life Cover callback form is used. It supplements Actual Insurances' published privacy policy.
Who is responsible for your information?
The data controller is U R Insurances (Europe) Limited, trading as Actual Insurances, Tipperary Technology Park, Rosanna Road, Tipperary, Co. Tipperary, E34 HK73. Talk Life Cover is the campaign website through which you request the conversation; the financial service is provided through Actual Insurances.
What the quick enquiry collects
We collect your name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, the general area you would like to discuss and the precise callback date and time you request in Europe/Dublin. We use your date of birth to confirm that you are an adult and to give the adviser basic context for your enquiry. The quick form does not ask for your smoking status, medical history, financial figures or policy application information.
A detailed protection enquiry may separately ask for smoking status. If you provide it, the form asks for your explicit consent before it is used for that enquiry.
We use the ordinary enquiry details because you asked us to respond and to take steps before a possible insurance, pension or investment service. We record your separate consent to the requested telephone callback. If you select a Sunday, Irish public holiday or a start at or after 9:00pm, we also record your written agreement to that one selected 15-minute window.
Your callback request
You may request any available 15-minute start time from 9:00am to 9:30pm on any day within the displayed 90-day booking horizon. A selected time is a callback request rather than a guaranteed appointment. If the adviser cannot call during that window, Actual Insurances will email you to arrange another time.
Retention and access
If no financial service is provided, a quick enquiry is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. If you choose to continue with advice, an application or another service, Actual Insurances will explain the relevant record-keeping period and any further information or sharing before it occurs.
Access is limited to authorised Actual Insurances personnel and the contracted providers needed to host and secure the website, database and private lead desk. Form information is not sent to an insurer merely because you submit a callback request.
Advertising source and tracking
Campaign source labels in the web address may be stored with the enquiry so Actual Insurances can understand which advertisement led to it. Your name, contact details and enquiry information are not placed into advertising URLs or sent back to advertising platforms by this website. The form does not opt you into unrelated marketing.
A short-lived, one-way technical identifier may be used to limit automated or excessive submissions. The raw network address is not stored in the lead record. No Pixel, Conversions API, custom audience or outcome upload is currently used by this website, and no automated decision is made from the form.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction where applicable, object to certain processing, request portability where applicable, withdraw a consent and complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. Email info@actualinsurances.ie or use the privacy request form.
